The MOVA P10 Pro Ultra is a budget robot vacuum that doesn't feel like a budget robot vacuum. It won Vacuum Wars' Best Value, Best Mid-Level, and Fan Favorite awards for mid-2025, and as of April 2026 it's their top budget pick. It has auto-emptying, self-cleaning mop pads, obstacle avoidance, and LiDAR mapping. Two years ago, you needed to spend two or three times as much to get these features.

MOVA is a sub-brand of Dreame, which is the same company behind the #1 ranked Dreame X60 Max Ultra. That matters because the app, mapping software, and underlying technology share DNA with Dreame's flagship robots. You're getting a cheaper version of the same platform, not a completely different product.

It has 1,538 Amazon ratings at 4.2 stars. Most owners are coming from older robots (Sharks, Roombas, basic Eufys) and are blown away by the upgrade. The negative reviews cluster around the rubber fin brush struggling with carpet and occasional navigation hiccups.

Key Features

The all-in-one dock is the biggest surprise at this price. It auto-empties the dustbin, refills the water tank, adds cleaning solution, washes the mop pads with hot water, heat-dries them, and self-cleans its own washboard. You basically just need to swap the dust bag every few months and refill the water occasionally.

Suction is 13,000 Pa. That's lower than the 22,000-35,000 Pa you get from premium robots, but it handles daily dust, crumbs, and pet hair on hard floors and low-pile carpet without issue. The mop pads auto-lift when the robot detects carpet.

LiDAR mapping is fast and accurate. The robot maps your home on the first run and the companion app lets you label rooms, set no-go zones, and schedule per-room cleaning. Multiple floors are supported.

Performance

Vacuum Wars gave the P10 Pro Ultra an overall score of 3.49, which is impressive for the price bracket. It scored 100% on pet hair pickup in their testing. Where it falls short is dried-on stain mopping (73% vs the 93% industry average) and flattened pet hair on carpet (66% vs 80% average).

Day-to-day, it works well. One Amazon reviewer with a German Shepherd said it handles "a whole dog's worth of hair daily" and runs reliably every day. Another owner on a dusty ranch said their hard floors are "cleaner than they have ever been."

The weak spot is obstacle avoidance. Despite mapping objects during the initial scan, the robot doesn't always avoid them in real time. Vacuum Wars noted it ran into fake pet messes and got stuck on low-lying obstacles a few times during testing. If your floors are cluttered, you'll want to pick up before running it.

The stock rubber fin brush is another issue. Multiple Amazon reviewers recommend swapping it for the aftermarket bristle brush that MOVA sells separately. The fin brush works fine on hard floors but struggles with carpet and wraps long hair. The bristle brush solves this.

Build quality is good for the price. Several Amazon reviewers mention the materials feel higher-end than expected. The dock is reasonably sized and the robot itself has a clean design.

MOVA is a newer brand, which is the main concern. Long-term reliability data is limited compared to Roborock or even Dreame's flagship line. But the Dreame parentage is reassuring, and the high volume of reviews (1,500+) with mostly positive feedback suggests the hardware holds up.

One owner reported receiving a completely inoperable unit that needed to be returned, but the replacement worked without issues. This seems like an isolated QC miss rather than a systemic problem.

Value for Money

This is where the P10 Pro Ultra dominates. It costs a fraction of what flagships like the Dreame X60 or Roborock Qrevo CurvX go for, and it covers 80-90% of what those robots do in daily use. You lose out on threshold climbing, advanced obstacle avoidance, and raw suction power. But for a typical home with hard floors and some carpet, the P10 Pro Ultra gets the job done.

A Gen 2 model has been released, but Vacuum Wars found it trades better mopping for worse obstacle avoidance and hair handling. The original remains the better all-around robot.

Who Should Buy This

If you want a robot vacuum that vacuums, mops, and maintains itself, and you don't want to spend over a thousand dollars, this is the one. It's especially good for homes with mostly hard floors and light to moderate pet hair.

First-time robot vacuum buyers will appreciate how little maintenance it needs. The dock handles everything. You set it and forget it.

Who Should Skip This

If you have thick carpet, heavy pet hair, or lots of floor clutter, the P10 Pro Ultra's weaker suction and obstacle avoidance will frustrate you. Step up to the Roborock Qrevo CurvX or Dreame X60 for those situations.

If mopping performance on tough stains is a priority, the Yeedi M14 Plus with its roller mop does a much better job. The P10's spinning pads are fine for maintenance mopping but won't scrub dried-on messes.

If you want the absolute longest-term reliability guarantee, Roborock has a longer track record as a brand. MOVA is newer and less proven over multiple years.
